Current configuration
VenusZen does not intentionally use advertising cookies, optional analytics cookies, social-media tracking cookies, advertising pixels, tag-manager advertising containers, conversion APIs, or publisher-ad scripts. Site analytics are disabled. The site does not display third-party publisher advertising.
Hosting, delivery, DNS, security, and related infrastructure may use technical mechanisms needed to provide or protect their services. Those mechanisms and ordinary technical request information differ from the browser-local features below. See the Privacy Policy for technical request processing.
Saved stories
When you save a story, your browser stores the reading list under the localStorage key venuszen-reading-list. This is localStorage, not a conventional cookie. It lets you save and remove stories. It is not an account and does not sync to a VenusZen server.
Saved stories can stay in the browser until you remove them, clear VenusZen site data, change browser settings, or use a browser mode that does not retain local data. If you share a device or browser profile, someone else with access to that profile may be able to see saved stories.
Privacy-choice storage
The Privacy Choices control stores a versioned preference record under venuszen-privacy-choices for up to 180 days. It records choices for analytics, advertising measurement, personalized advertising, and Do Not Sell or Share. No optional vendors are active now, so the record does not enable a tracking service.
You can revisit choices at Privacy choices or clear VenusZen site data through browser controls. A local preference made while no optional vendors are named does not give reusable consent for future vendors or purposes. If VenusZen proposes optional technology, it will provide a new notice and fresh choice before enabling it.
Browser signals and controls
VenusZen treats Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals as a more-protective opt-out from optional marketing and targeted advertising on this site. These settings do not constitute consent and cannot control a third party after you leave VenusZen.
Most browsers let you inspect, block, limit, or delete cookies and local storage. Controls differ by browser and device. Blocking essential infrastructure technology can affect availability or security functions. This release uses self-hosted fonts rather than loading fonts from an external provider.
